Our Founder

Jennifer is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant specializing in wound and pressure injury litigation. She is a highly-trained career nurse with 28+ years in patient care, 26+ years as a bedside nurse, and 23+ years as a certified wound expert. In addition to graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, she also holds 4 different nationally-recognized and accredited specialty certifications. Her many professional accomplishments include:

• authoring a peer-reviewed article published in a national nursing journal
• serving as faculty for an accredited nurse residency program
• pioneering wound care and pressure injury prevention programs for acute-care and skilled nursing facilities
• inventing a dressing-selection & storage system for healthcare professionals
• serving on a nationally recognized and accredited nursing specialty certification board
• speaking at colleges and professional association meetings, seminars, and retreats
• authoring educational modules approved for accredited professional CEs
• precepting candidates for accredited nursing specialty certification
• developing visual learning aids for professionals, patients, and caregivers
• receiving the Award for Caring in Nursing from Advent Health University
